SMS Terms of Service

PAUL KIM DMD ("we," "us," or "our") sends text (SMS) messages to patients and contacts in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and U.S. mobile carrier messaging requirements. This policy explains how our SMS program works and your rights as a recipient.

1. Compliance

All messages from PAUL KIM DMD are sent through registered phone numbers in compliance with carrier brand and campaign verification requirements. Our primary sending number is (919) 335-8390.

2. Program Description

By opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from PAUL KIM DMD related to:

  • Appointment reminders and confirmations
  • Appointment scheduling and rescheduling
  • Post-treatment follow-up and care instructions
  • Office announcements and operational updates
  • Account and billing notifications

3. Opt-In

You may opt in to our SMS program by:

Message frequency varies. Typically, you will receive 1–4 messages per month per active appointment cycle, plus occasional operational announcements. You will not receive marketing messages unless you have separately opted in to receive them.

You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or CANCEL to any message from PAUL KIM DMD. Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will stop sending SMS messages to your number, except for a single confirmation message confirming your opt-out.

Our messages are supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers. If you experience delivery issues, contact your carrier or reach out to us using the support details above.

8. Liability

PAUL KIM DMD is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, nor for any carrier-related delivery failures. SMS is a best-effort communication channel and should not be relied upon for medical emergencies. In an emergency, call 911.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS policy from time to time. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
